My Christmas tree gets
a second life. |
The snow that blanketed my city and my neighborhood was an equal-opportunity beautifier. Trash and ragged yards disappeared and only the beautiful lines of old homes and stately trees stood out. I lost count of the number of times I said, "I never noticed that cute house before!"
It also provided some equal opportunity socializing as we all scrounged for items likely to make a decent sled. (for the record, it was the trash can lid that worked the best).
